Determine optimal heart rate zones for various exercise
intensities, used in cardiovascular training programs.
How to check your resting heart rate:
1. Sit down and relax for a few minutes.
2. Place two fingers (index and middle) on your wrist or the side
of your neck to find your pulse.
3. Count the number of beats in 60 seconds, or count for 30
seconds and multiply by 2.
4. This number is your resting heart rate (in beats per minute).
